What is Our Microneedling Technique?
Collagen induction therapy with microneedling is performed in a private treatment room in around 30 – 60 minutes with numbing cream or local anesthesia if preferred, but patients generally report little or no pain and discomfort. The skin being addressed will be cleaned before the microneedling handpiece is passed evenly over. After the microneedling is performed, a topical treatment, like PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or a serum with a vitamin infusion, may be applied for deeper penetration of the nutrients into the skin. A moisturizer selected for your skin type will be massaged in along with sun protection because your skin will be more sensitive following the procedure.
