What is Our Vaginal Rejuvenation Technique?
Laser vaginal rejuvenation can be performed in-office in around 30 minutes. No anesthesia is necessary for the treatment. At the time of the procedure, a wand-shaped FemiLift handpiece will be passed over the exterior of your labia and vulvar tissues. Depending on the decided course of treatment, the wand may also be inserted into your vagina as it emits controlled laser energy to the tissues and vaginal skin to stimulate collagen, which strengthens the area. The wand contains a built-in thermometer so that the temperature can be monitored and manipulated as necessary to prevent discomfort or injury.
PRP vaginal rejuvenation is a quick procedure performed in about 30 minutes in one of our private treatment rooms in Charlotte, NC. The procedure should cause little to no discomfort, but a local anesthetic will be applied to the vulva and clitoris, as these are the ares to be treated. First, a small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm and spun through a centrifuge machine. The platelet-rich plasma will be separated from the blood and put into a small syringe during this process. The PRP will then be injected into the clitoris and upper vagina. This process will trigger the body's natural collagen and elastin generation, which will help improve the function and appearance of the vagina. It may take around two weeks to notice the results, although some women may immediately notice improvements.
