Based on the condition of the skin, the laser will be adjusted for the best results. There is some downtime needed for most laser skin resurfacing procedures. What is Our Laser Skin Resurfacing Technique?
When you have a more intense or deeper skin resurfacing treatment, you may be given a retinoid product for a few weeks before your laser appointment. The retinoid helps prep the skin for better results. Medication will be given prior to the procedure to help minimize any sensation for greater relaxation throughout your appointment. We can help correct your mild complexion issues or use more intense laser treatments. Throughout the procedure, you can relax in our treatment chair while the Venus Viva laser handpiece passes over the skin, targeting the specific rejuvenation sections. You will feel the heat of the laser, followed by cold air from the system's built-in cooling device. The laser eliminates damaged skin cells while stimulating natural collagen production.
